Missed Opportunity

It's near dark and I'm sitting a recliner the television is shining awfully bright, I might add the laptop doesn't help. There's something about fall weather that is so enticing to me. I feel like I'm in some movie. I'm not sure what it is but fall just puts me in that mood I admit. I wonder if any parks are still open I could really enjoy a walk in the cool fall evening right now. I confess there is no better way for anyone to clear their head. The only thing better is a walk in the rain. If you haven't had one of those walks I really must encourage you to do so. It's liberating and enlightening, the fresh air can rejuvenate your weary mind. And if you believe in a higher power you can really put into perspective how small you are in the much bigger picture of things. It's humbling and can ground even the most self-centered.
